WagrGames Inc - Responsible Gameplay Policy

WagrGames Inc is committed to the protection of our players and promoting responsible social gameplay as a policy of customer care and social responsibility. We believe it is our shared responsibility with you, our players, to ensure that you enjoy your experience on our platform while remaining aware of the potential risks that can be associated with online gameplay if you don't remain in control. We encourage you to use the responsible social gameplay tools described below that we've made available to you.

To ensure that you enjoy fun and affordable play, we fully support responsible social gameplay and have put measures in place to assist players who wish to control their play. We reserve the right to activate these measures unilaterally if, in our sole discretion, we consider them necessary.

1. General

This Responsible Gameplay Policy is centered around our guiding principles of providing our players with control tools, information, and resources needed to make an informed decision in gameplay and prevent problem gameplay from occurring on our site. We do not provide counseling services nor do we police player behavior. Instead, we focus on providing control tools and informing, educating, and supporting informed decisions.

This Policy describes the various tools and resources available to our players to ensure responsible gameplay.

You can apply the Responsible Social Play Control Tools via your account or by contacting Customer Support by email (support@wagr.co).

This Responsible Gameplay Policy (the "Policy") is integrated into the Terms and Conditions and forms part of the Terms and Conditions as if fully restated there.

  • National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC): is one of the oldest networks of non-profit financial counseling agencies. The NFCC helps people to defeat their debt and look forward with confidence.

5. Educational Resources

Principles of Gameplay:

  • Randomness: Winners of games are determined at random.
  • Outcomes cannot be predicted by past results or outcomes.

Common Misconceptions:

  • Thinking "I'm due for a win" is a fallacy since all outcomes in games of chance are random and cannot be predicted.
  • Believing that a lucky charm or pre-game ritual affects your chances of winning is a misconception, as these factors have no impact on the random outcomes of the games.
  • Assuming that playing a game for a longer time increases your chances of winning is incorrect, as the probability of winning remains the same for each game round regardless of how much time is spent playing.

Tips for Safe Gameplay:

  • Avoid playing games when you are angry, sad, or otherwise emotional.
  • Take frequent and regular breaks during gameplay sessions.
  • Do not play games when you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Online games are just one form of entertainment, and there are other options available.
  • If you do make an optional purchase, make sure it is with money that you can afford to spend.
  • Set a time for play.
  • Understand how the games work and that the winners are random.
  • Do not allow game playing to impact your employment, relationships, health, social obligations or other commitments.
